It appears that some of the writers in this genera always has the good guy wining. Mr. Lowther has written a series (this is the second book in the series, the first was "Near Side Of The Precipice".) that is considerably more believable that some story lines in this genera. Really enjoyed both books and looking forward to his next one.Product details

Cold Honor Mr Dale Lowther Books Reviews
Cold Honor is an excellent read. Well researched, realistic themes with urgent and timely messages for the reader. The passages addressing the evacuation of a major city are chilling.
While this was a pretty good story line, it certainly lacked the depth and detail of a Clancy, Flynn, or Brown. It just didn't invite me into the story as a participant or give me enough emotional involvement to draw me in and make me fell as if I were a part of the story. A good narrative should describe the scene well enough that I can smell the smoke and feel the wind in my face as the ground rushes past under my lurching helicopter. Better luck next time.
